As an Occupational Health Lead, you’ll bring experience of leading and managing an Occupational Health service provision. You’ll translate insight from our Occupational Health service to support the development of Wellbeing strategies across Nuffield Health. You’ll have a sound understanding of evidence-led employee wellbeing initiatives and have the ability to communicate fluently with clinical / non-clinical colleagues and a wide range of stakeholders.
You’ll ensure a comprehensive, professional, clinically safe and efficient Occupational Health (OH) Service is delivered to the employees in line with Company Occupational Health policies and procedures and local arrangements.
**As our Occupational Health Lead you will**:
- Own the relationship with 3rd party providers, overseeing service delivery, and ensuring services are delivered in line with contractual agreements.
- Ensure robust governance is in place that facilitates internal and external assurance.
- Contribute to the employee health and wellbeing initiatives, working with HR and Clinical / Operational colleagues, whilst ensuring full compliance with any relevant regulations e.g. Annual Driver Medicals, DSE, Workplace wellbeing campaigns.
- Take ownership of OH Policies, certifying that these are up to date with best practice and national guidelines.
- Work with the clinical / medical teams to develop organisational-level guidance and protocols in response to outbreaks and issues that may impact upon employee wellbeing e.g. COVID-19 prevalence, Stress management, Chickenpox/Shingles.
- Oversee the management and delivery of the annual flu immunisation programme
- Supports the development of Onboarding processes to positively influence time to hire though Occupational Health providers.
- Influence the Nuffield Health wellbeing strategy to support colleagues, through utilising data insights from Occupational Health and experience.
**Essential qualifications/skills required**:
- Diploma in Occupational Health or Nursing/Occupational Health._
