**Role Summary**

We are looking for someone to step into the Clinical Lead role to support with HMPPS and Scot Gov.

The Clinical Operational Lead is responsible for planning and coordinating key clinical based activities to enable Optima to deliver our service delivery commitments as effectively and efficiently as possible. The role will be to support the current Lead in achieving this.

This role requires someone who is well organised, analytical, with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally to influence change. This role is a key driver for achieving service excellence and requires energetic, proactive commitment to meeting client needs and overcoming obstacles to implement improved ways of working.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the main clinical lead, associated director and operations manager to ensure to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Support the co-ordination of the Learning and Development (L&D), in association with the clinical induction, as well as plan for all clinicians working on HMPPS and ensuring effective delivery via the L&D team, as appropriate.
- Contributing to benchmarking, sharing best practice and continuous service improvement, working with the Quality Team and other stakeholders as required
- Review of clinical standards, guidance, and processes, as appropriate.
- Clinical support regarding escalations and clinical queries from HMPPS.
- Review of clinical results, in line with HMPPS standards, as part of the PE process
- Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders, as required, with support.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- You will need to be a Registered General Nurse with previous experience in Occupational Health, as an Occupational Health Advisor.
- Current NMC Registration
- OH Qualification and experience undertaking HMPPS work would be beneficial.
- Ability to travel to client site where required on a weekly basis.
