**Clinical Coder - Healthcare Software Systems**

Our client are a global technology company who operate in over 100 countries. They continue to dominate the market, and as a result, are seeking a motivated individual to join their team in the UK. As a Clinical Coding Professional, you will be tasked to be the UK point for the global development team to develop and maintain the software for a world leading healthcare company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Main UK point of contact with global development team working on system functionality, and lead on new software validation activities
- Identifying product enhancements through customer feedback
- Conducting thorough testing to identify potential issues.
- Supporting the creation of product educational content
- Production and maintenance of both technical and user documentation and procedures, for training and marketing purposes ensuring that they are kept up to date.
- Engage, train and support customers in testing new and enhanced software
- Actively seek and remain aware of any pending changes in national clinical coding practice and the impact on software development

**About You**:

- Accredited Clinical Coder (National Clinical Coding Qualification)
- Advantageous to be either an NHSE Approved Clinical Coding Auditor or NHSE Approved Clinical Coding Trainer
- In depth knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS and national coding rules and conventions
- In-depth knowledge of NHS Finance System; National Tariff and associated Healthcare Resource Groups
- Experience from working in a development lifecycle, for QA test
- Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure meeting deadlines.
- Extensive NHS clinical coding experience
- Training or coaching within a clinical coding team
