JOB TITLE:
Sales Manager - Packaging and Process Machinery, Food Manufacturing

This exciting position involves managing a designated territory in the Southern UK, where you will be tasked with selling a variety of precision engineering components to end users within the food manufacturing industry. The role will entail a balanced focus on maintaining existing accounts and acquiring new business, with achievable targets set to support the company's growth objectives over the next three years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Demonstrated track record in sales of engineering components to end users.
  • Prior experience in selling packaging or process machinery components and/or within the food manufacturing sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A technical or engineering background is advantageous.
COMPANY OVERVIEW:

An established British manufacturer renowned for its precision engineered components utilized in packaging and process machinery, predominantly catering to the food manufacturing industry. The company operates globally, serving clients in over 50 countries and collaborating with 800+ distributors. They are currently pursuing an ambitious three-year expansion plan with full financial backing.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
  • Competitive basic salary of up to £60,000
  • Additional benefits include a monthly & quarterly commission of approximately £10,000, along with a car allowance of £6,000 per annum
LOCATION:
Covering the Southern UK, based at home and residing South of Birmingham.

PROFESSIONAL GROWTH:

The role presents promising growth opportunities, with successful performance potentially leading to a UK Sales Manager position within 2 to 3 years and further progression to a Sales Director role in the medium term.
