In This Role, You'll Be...
Our financial mastermind, processing invoices and managing payments to keep the cash flow flowing like a brand-new tap.A data detective, meticulously verifying invoices and ensuring we only pay for the best bathroom supplies (no leaky expenses here).A dab hand at categorising, applying the correct VAT rates, and keeping our financial records sparkling clean.A supplier champion, ensuring they're paid on time and fostering positive relationships that are the foundation of any thriving business.A whiz with spreadsheets, utilising your Microsoft Office expertise to keep everything organised and efficient.
We're looking for someone who:
Has at least a year's experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.Understands accounting principles and bookkeeping practices like the back of their hand.Has a meticulous eye for detail - even the smallest drip can cause a leak in our recordsIs a whizz with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (spreadsheets are our shower paradise).Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple tasks with ease.Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills - because building relationships is key.Ideally, possesses an AAT Accounting qualification or is working towards one (bonus points for acing those exams).Has experience with accounting software packages like Sage (but knowledge of Victorian plumbing systems is not essential... although it might impress your colleagues).
