Are you ready to be the linchpin between business needs and technological innovation? As a Data Product Owner at Asda, you'll have the opportunity to translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications, ensuring that our data solutions are perfectly aligned with stakeholder expectations. You'll be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, managing requirements, and spearheading the analysis of current and future states to drive continuous improvement and innovation to meet the product vision. In this role, you will:
Own the day-to-day management of the data platform/data product, ensuring that it aligns with user needs, business objectives and delivers value.Strong product management skills and a deep understanding of data-driven product development and the data lifecycle.Maintain a flexible product roadmap that outlines the steps required to bring data products to life.Communicate the value of data products to a wide range of stakeholders from data engineers, business users and data scientists Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality delivery in a timely manner.Engage in product discovery activities to validate features before development.Lead the requirements management process, from user research to documentation and validation, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.Creating a compelling data experience for the end user combined with an understanding of Business Intelligence tools Apply product management best practices to drive and embed product management best practise across the team and contribute to the community of practice & stay abreast of industry trends, Including AICreate a culture of continuous learning, coaching and mentoring of colleagues Let's find out about you
You are a capable professional with a knack for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Your analytical prowess is matched only by your ability to communicate complex ideas with ease. You're a strategic thinker with a passion for data and product management. Proven experience as a Data Product Owner or similar role.An adaptive mindset is part of your DNA; you thrive in changing environments and are quick to adjust your strategies.You have a foundation degree, undergraduate degree, or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, Data Science or a relevant field.Knowledge of data best practicesProactive & enthusiastic about understanding problems complex problems #LI-DW1 Work Where it Works
