Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure products/services comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
  • Support risk assessments and investigations related to data use
  • Report on risks and issues to the Senior Data Governance Manager
  • Engage with stakeholders to improve data protection and governance
  • Maintain the data asset catalogue
  • Escalate data governance issues and collaborate with stakeholders

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of GDPR/Data Protection Act and relevant legislation
  • Financial industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational and analytical abilities
  • Information life-cycle management knowledge

Desirable Skills:

  • Degree level education or equivalent experience
  • Privacy credentials such as CIPP
