JOB TITLE : Technical Product Owner

SALARY : £57,546pa to £70,000pa plus benefits

LOCATION : Leeds
HOURS : Full-time

WORKING PATTERN : This role follows a hybrid working model, requiring at least two days per week at the office.

We are seeking a Product Owner to guide two feature teams within our Devices Lab, a dynamic environment focused on the technology we provide to our workforce.

Role Responsibilities

This position is integral to our Windows Physical and Virtual feature teams, which are responsible for optimizing our technology offerings and enhancing the overall user experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the operations and engineering of Windows client builds, hardware, and application support for our physical devices.
  • Overseeing the continuous deployment of Windows client updates, including security patches and feature enhancements, while collaborating with application owners to ensure readiness.
  • Directing the operations and engineering of our Virtual Desktop and Virtual application infrastructure.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in our transformation journey, defining how we leverage technology to support our colleagues and enhance their skills. Your responsibilities will include:

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, leading teams with Agile/Scrum methodologies and managing product backlogs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Strong familiarity with agile development practices and tools such as Scrum, Kanban, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in implementing new processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive change.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex challenges into actionable roadmaps.
  • A track record of creating a positive team environment that attracts and retains talent.
  • Experience in financial planning and resource management, ensuring effective budget utilization.
  • Strong influencing skills to align stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in managing dependencies and resolving issues effectively.
  • Prior experience with Windows Physical or Virtual device management is advantageous.
