We have an exciting opportunity in an expanding national organisation for a determined Business Development Manager, offering remote working with extensive travel around Wales and the South West of England.
Working within the Financial division of this exciting organisation, you will be key in developing and nurturing of new prospective, collaborative relationships across NHS Trusts around the country, and very much at the heart of the business. You will be tasked with selling financial and clinical solutions to NHS Trusts across the South West and surrounding areas, offering a range of business solutions and consultancy services. With the ability to build strong relationships and rapport with stakeholders at all levels, you will have the ability to analyse the needs of those you are selling to, being able to spot opportunities to cross-sell products and find solutions. You must be able to work collaboratively with senior board members and executives and be a confident communicator, presenting at industry events and attending exhibitions as required.
With the support of your Business Development Director and client services team, you will follow up warm leads with a view to securing new business, whilst monitoring current client renewal dates and identifying opportunities to maximise repeat business. Consultative in all you do, you will be a natural at approaching prospective clients and be responsible for developing brand new business relationships from start to finish, ensuring the highest quality of service throughout. Working closely with your client delivery partners, you will also provide account management at the highest level whilst new contracts are established, ensuring the relationship is nurtured and developed.
As a Business Development Manager, you will have outstanding presentation and communication skills with a consultative, solution driven approach. Regularly acting as an ambassador on behalf of the company, you be strategically minded and have gravitas for developing partnerships at senior stakeholder level. Professional in all you do, you will be a successful sales professional with experience of creating new partnerships and comfortable working in a pressurised, target driven environment. You must excel at working remotely and hitting set targets with minimal supervision.
For this exciting opportunity, you will need to have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within sales or new business, whilst being able to display a track record of selling into the healthcare sector or NHS would be highly advantageous. This is a fast-paced role in a dynamic consultancy committed to outstanding customer service, therefore strong relationship management skills will be crucial to your success, as well as a proactive approach to self learning. Alongside this a great attitude, a desire to work hard and grow with a fast-paced business is absolutely crucial. This role is home based, with travel across London and surrounding areas, which means a full driving license will be necessary.
