A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced HR Talent & Resourcing Manager with experience of blue-collar and white-collar recruitment to join a successful, well-established and market-leading business. As part of their continued success, the appointment of the HR Talent & Resourcing Manager, at the Coventry site, is critical in supporting the HR team in the next phased growth and direction of the company.
The role is very fast paced but equally a great opportunity to provide essential support to the HRBP and wider HR and management teams with regards to the resourcing function. Part of your duties will be to screen and recommend to management, candidates for short listing, understand blue-collar recruitment trends and be creative in looking at ways to attract talent, attend networking events and recruitment fairs and measuring successes to make informed recommendations around job board advertising. You will also monitor and report on a number of metrics relating to number of roles filled, time to offer and how to reduce this. There will also be an element of coaching recruiting managers on effective induction and the on-boarding process.
Working closely with the HRBP, General Manager and the plant management team you will ensure the day-to-day management and support is available to employees on-site. Seeking guidance from the HRBP or specialists as required to ensure the business operates in a safe, fair and consistent working manner. You will provide support to the HRBP in respect of support with 1st line HR queries.
You will be keen to throw yourself into this role and provide support, where required, on a number of project related tasks. You will see this as a great opportunity to learn and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast paced environment. As an individual, you will be pro-active, resilient and self-motivated with a positive way of thinking, highly personable, diplomatic, professional and possess exceptional communication skills. A very pragmatic, hands-on approach will be required. Level 3 CIPD minimum is required.
