Our client, a leading player in the Battery Energy Storage Systems sector (BESS), is looking for a talented Project Management Director to lead and oversee their European projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned project management professional with a proven track record in handling complex, BESS projects in the renewable energy sector.

Position Overview:nThe Project Management Director will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, timelines, and budgets. This role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met, while also maintaining compliance with international regulations.

Key responsibilities:nDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for international projectsnCommunicate with stakeholders and team members to ensure project goals are metnIdentify and mitigate project risks and issuesnMonitor and report project progress to senior managementnEnsure compliance with international regulations and policiesnCollaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectivesnManage project documentation and ensure it is up-to-date and accessiblenProvide guidance and support to project team membersnLead project meetings and facilitate decision-making processesnContribute to the development and implementation of project management processes and best practices

Qualification and expertise:nBachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management or related fieldnFluency in English. Any additional European languages (esp. Italian, German, Spanish) will be a plusn8+ years of experience in a senior project management role within Battery Energy Storage Systems sector (BESS).nProficient in project management software and tools is a MUSTnKnowledge of renewable energy international regulations and policiesnAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
