Research Project Management Director

A hugely important role within this international agency, you will head up all aspects of research project management for a complex global research programme, focused on the development of ground-breaking new brands in the consumer sector, and exploring consumer behaviour around these products in terms of usage and uptake.
A multi-million-pound account spanning a wide range of global research programmes, there is a strong focus on tracking research in multiple markets.
This is a high-profile role within the business. As PM Director, your remit will be to ensure the delivery of the high-quality data this agency is known for, on time and to budget. You will be responsible for driving efficiencies, always adding value and looking for better ways of working to deliver value to the client. And you will take a long term view, looking ahead to ensure the programme continues to evolve and deliver.
A very client facing role, you can expect full and positive client engagement: this client is highly regarded in the agency because they listen and follow the advice given. Described as a true partnership, there is a high degree of trust.
You will head up a team of 3-4 research project management specialists and will work alongside the research team delivering on this programme. Team leadership and teamwork are vital for this role – this is a cohesive team of people who are passionate, interested and want to do a great job.
As part of your remit, you will be responsible for driving ongoing innovation in order to create more effective ways of working – including ensuring the most up to date technology is being fully utilised.
For this role, we need a high calibre, established and strategic research project management superstar who has experience of running and setting up complex global programmes, including global tracking programmes, across multiple markets. Experience in a project management role in a market research agency is essential - this is a commercial environment.
Exceptional client facing skills are a must – we need someone with instant gravitas and credibility, who is an expert in their (research project management) field and who can add value from the get-go.nThis is a pacey client, so you will need to be fleet of foot and as forward thinking and ambitious for their brands as they are. We need to see energy, proactivity and a drive to make a difference in spades.nYou must have a good understanding of market research and operations, and be used to working alongside senior stakeholders - and having a voice with them.
