POST- are seeking an experienced Area Sales Director to join an incredible market leader in the Midlands area.

You'll be responsible for implementing and developing a strategic plan to develop key accounts and achieving targets with our client's customers in an important geographical patch that offers significant opportunity and influence across the business.

In order to achieve this you will coach, develop and motivate a team of high-performing Account Managers, providing them with everything they need to maximise their individual potential.

This is an incredibly important area for our client and you will therefore have the opportunity to contribute to and influence the strategic direction of the business.

What we're looking for:

  • You will be an extremely customer-centric Leader with a passion for making the right decisions that will provide true value for your customers.
  • You'll be passionate about people and will have demonstrable experience training, coaching, developing and motivating a team of Account Managers, providing the leadership required for your team to achieve their full potential.
  • Having a growth mindset is absolutely key
  • You will be able to demonstrate solid career progression from entry-level to senior leadership with past roles including Account Management, Business Development, Product Development and Account Development.
  • Experience managing a field-based Account Management Team , with a key focus on providing leadership that will turn around poor performers and help the team achieve their full potential.
  • Experience developing key accounts and new business with a focus on consistent revenue growth .
  • You'll be able to influence , both internally and externally in order to drive results and achieve objectives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a passion for data
  • You'll enjoy presenting to senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • You will be a consistent high-achiever with a track record of exceeding all targets.
