Think FE is working with a highly reputable college on the beautiful Channel Island of Jersey to recruit a Practice Learning Coordinator for their Higher Education division.

This remote role is ideal for candidates looking to make a significant impact in social work education while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. The college will cover travel expenses for the first week to facilitate training, onboarding, and an introduction to the staff and students.
Job Purpose:
Identify, manage, and quality assure practice learning opportunities for the BA (Hons) Social Work (Jersey) course.
Support the development of the College’s Higher Education provision to meet the needs of students, employers, and stakeholders.
Collaborate with agencies, students, and tutors to ensure appropriate and timely student placements.
Develop systems to support and assure the quality of practice placements and related learning opportunities.
Work with the Head of Higher Education and the Course Leader to implement strategic plans for continuous improvement of practice learning. Who are we looking for?
Honours degree and Professional Social Work Qualification.
Practice education award (e.g., Practice Educator Professional Standards 1 and 2).
Registration with Social Work England.
Relevant experience in higher education/training and social work practice.
Understanding of contemporary developments in social work education and practice learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Next steps
