MICE International Sales Manager

London 1 day a week / 4 days remote

£43,000 + Bonus


Brand new role for an established and creative events forum company where you will drive sales and travel internationally for events


The company


An established and creative events company our client delivers bespoke forums and hosted buyer events for the events and travel industry on a global scale. Working with a range of international suppliers and events professionals this role is key in supporting the Sales & Marketing Manager in driving sales and curating a well honed list of bespoke suppliers.


The role


The role will include both inbound as well as proactive enquiries and being able to secure relevant and well aligned suppliers for each event. Dealing with inbound enquiries the Sales Manager will introduce the various packages available will attend events and network in the industry as well as conducting proactive outreach. Researching new and exciting destinations and hotels to approach is also key, and you will also get to attend all of the events as part of the team to ensure a smooth event


About you


We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager within the MICE industry ideally from a hotel, destination management company (DMC) or travel bureau with a background in selling into events agencies and event planners. Being able to demonstrate proactive and reactive sales, and a good understanding of the meetings and events industry is key.
