Working Pattern - Hybrid – 2 days per week in the Vitality London or Bournemouth Office. Full time hours per week.

Partnership management experienceWhat this role is all about:
To provide strategic leadership as well as operational and partnership management expertise to transform everyday care services within the new department that has been created of Everyday Care.
This will include the transformation and optimisation of current everyday care journeys that are offered to our members. This includes Integrated Primary Care, Vitality GP (VGP), other GP services, primary care diagnostics (including Skin Analytics), physiotherapy and mental health support. This includes designing new workflows and clinical pathways where required and serving as a key clinical point of contact for Everyday care providers, attending and overseeing clinical governance and quality activities.
In addition, the Partnerships Director will provide strategic leadership to lead the development of new pathways and partners to be offered to our members as part of our everyday care proposition. Including diagnostics in primary care, comprehensive mental health offerings for adults and children in the pre clinical and clinical stages, linking the Vitality Programme though all primary care journeys, and developing a strategy for further core services within primary care.
Key Actions
Strategic leadership of the development of the everyday care proposition within the business
Management of the everyday care team to ensure transformation and optimisation of current everyday care journeys that are offered to our member
Work with and lead development and design teams on pathway design, ensuring all member journeys are clinically safe and achieve excellent clinical outcomes for our member
Develop and lead new and existing operations workflow design to ensure seamless, integrated, clinically safe member journeys are created and appropriate escalation points are identified and accounted fo
Lead the development of new pathways and partners to be offered to our member
Support and manage the writing, editing, documenting, and publishing of clinical content where appropriate, ensuring accuracy from a clinical perspective
Representing Vitality at external conferences and events, building our global reputation for innovative provision of healthcare to our members
Lead clinical due diligence of new and potential partners, including reviewing their offerings and processesEssential Skills needed to fulfil this role:
Clinically qualified (Medical qualification with GMC registration desirable)
At least 10 years healthcare or health sector experience, ideally as a practicing physician.
Comprehensive knowledge of primary care system set-up and how digital products can be implemented within them.
Demonstrable interest or experience in one or more of the following, Primary Care, digital health, digital transformation, clinical care delivery.
Can demonstrate strong and successful track record of cross-functional working ideally in a large, matrixed organisation, and evidence of ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Has proven understanding of UK health regulatory environment, clinical governance and audit processes and practices and quality measures in primary care.
Experience with project or programme management.
PC literate with excellent knowledge of Word, PowerPoint Excel applications.
