About the Role:
We need an organised HR administrator with a bit of creative flair. You will be responsible for the admin tasks involved in advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and successfully recruiting staff at New Prospects. In many ways you will be the face (and voice) of New Prospects to prospective employees and customers. You'll be a key contact for our existing staff ensuring they are DBS checked and our HR records are up to date. You will be joining an established admin team and play your part in the day-to-day tasks of the team, covering phones, minute taking and assisting other colleagues when needed.
In addition, you will assist our CEO with general admin, with a focus on creative admin tasks, turning flip charts and graphic notes from meetings into reports, job adverts, easy read material for people we support, staff and external agencies.
Key Duties:
Co-ordinate (and do) the recruitment process for our new starters, from advert to starting work
Support new and existing staff through the DBS application process.
Complete document checks for UK born and overseas applicants in line with Home Office guidance.
Support our CEO with creative admin tasks, producing reports, job adverts and promotional material.
Play your part in our admin team picking up any other admin tasks as directed.
Take accurate minutes of minutes.
Live our values on the phone and in face-to-face meetings with staff, being open, honest, thoughtful and kind.
If you can communicate our vision and create the highest standard of support to all levels or the organisation, then we want to hear from you.
Be proactive in keeping our managers on track with the paperwork required to successfully and legally recruit staff.
Be a great team player, you'll be part of a small established team.
Communicate professionally with people inside and outside the organisation.About you:
4 GCSEs or equivalent, including English Language at Grade C or above
Ability to take accurate meeting notes
Ability to write in a businesslike manner but in easy-to-read style
Have an eye for detail
Ability to prioritise workload
Ability to see problems early and respond
Good time management skills
The ability to see a process in its entirety and take control of your part in it
The ability to communicate verbally in a professional but friendly manner.
