We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Business Analyst to join our team.

As a key member in the delivery team you will be responsible for reviewing and developing services across our whole transformation agenda. This could be services that form part of Asters Customer Services Modernisation programme or could be to enable efficiencies for our Group Services by supporting the implementation of new software. You will work closely within project teams with colleagues from across the business ensuring that business requirements are gathered with solutions developed that meet their needs.

You will be known internally as a Service Designer.

Key accountabilities will include:

Facilitating design workshops with business stakeholders utilising a suite of business analysis tools.

Leading on eliciting business requirements that influence system design and collaborating with IT colleagues and external partners in solution development to ensure they are met and the UI/UX are considered throughout. Ensuring a detailed understanding of business requirements.

Working alongside IT colleagues and/or test engineers to develop solution prototypes. Leading on system integration testing to ensure software solutions meet the requirements of the business, prior to user system and acceptance testing

Considering and appreciating data integrity within the creation and review of any services.

Ensuring robust documentation is produced throughout the design process to evidence the service progression and to support future iteration.

You will be responsible for maintaining detailed requirements, tasks, business decisions and discussion in Azure DevOps throughout the development lifecycle.

Ensuring Aster’s services continue to meet the relevant business requirements necessary to ensure compliance and reporting needs are met.

About You

You'll be an experienced business analyst who ideally has worked with Microsoft D365 applications before and will be able to bring with you relevant knowledge and expertise.

Extracting, analysing, and interpreting information from stakeholders is vital to this role so your communication skills will need to be one of your key strengths. You won’t be afraid to ask why, or challenge in a productive way to get the best insights from both the colleagues and customers you will be working with. You will also be confident facilitating in a virtual space as well as face to face where required.

You may be required to attend meetings, workshops and events so will be willing and able to travel across our operating areas as and when required. Otherwise, you'll be able to work flexibly enabling you to work in the environment that works best for you.

Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
