Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small, friendly, dynamic but growing team within a large corporate group, based in Chester.
Your role will be based in the busy Recoveries Department and you will undertake direct branch case reviews, administrative work, optimise the income recovery and develop indirect and direct debt cases.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Dealing with New cases from inception to completion

Day-to-day knowledge of cases within the department

To drive recovery of debt income on cases

To keep the Management team up to date with case progress

Production of template and free format letters

Seek legal guidance from in-house solicitors, where needed
The ideal candidate must have:
Meticulous attention to detail

An interest in investigating cases and problem solving

Good written and assertive communication skills

Good listening, negotiation and persuasion skills

An ability to self-learn

A strong work ethic

A professional telephone manner

Experience obtained within a Recoveries/Collections environment is required
For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for progression within the department.
