Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Recoveries Case Handler to join our team at Connells Group HQ. As a Recoveries Case Handler, you will be responsible for handling direct branch case reviews, administrative work, optimizing income recovery, and developing indirect and direct debt cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage new cases from inception to completion, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with day-to-day knowledge of cases within the department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Drive recovery of debt income on cases, utilizing negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve optimal results.
- Keep the Management team informed of case progress, providing regular updates and recommendations.
- Produce template and free-format letters, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Seek guidance from in-house solicitors as needed, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Meticulous attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- An interest in investigating cases and problem-solving, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent written and assertive communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade effectively.
- Good listening, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with a strong focus on building relationships.
- A strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
- A professional telephone manner, with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in a Recoveries/Collections environment is preferred, but not required.
