In this role, you will start as a Telephonist and have the opportunity to advance to a Controller role with a higher pay rate after training.

The job involves various tasks aimed at ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer satisfaction.

Telephonist Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls and assist customers with their inquiries
  • Greet and assist customers in person at the office
  • Manage bookings, enter them into the computer system, and coordinate with drivers
  • Organize cover for busy periods and manage driver documents
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and paperwork

Controller Responsibilities (After Training):

  • Analyze prebooked jobs and allocate them to appropriate drivers
  • Plan and organize driver schedules to honor customer bookings
  • Exercise problemsolving skills and effective organization to optimize operations
  • Maintain a high level of service quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Polite, confident, and customerfocused attitude
  • Experience in telesales, administration, logistics, or reception roles is beneficial
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, handling a high volume of calls
  • Preferred flexibility in working days, evenings, weekends, and covering holidays/sickness
  • Computer literate with reasonable spelling ability
  • Good problemsolving and organizational skills
