About the Role

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Officer to join our Infrastructure and Planning team. As a key member of the team, you will provide professional and confidential support services to assist in the effective delivery of projects and the day-to-day functioning of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide secretariat support to the team, including responding to enquiries, drafting correspondence, and undertaking background research and analysis.
  • Collate information, project status reporting, and assist in the management of funding agreements and negotiations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist in drafting reports to the Board and provide administrative support to the team.
  • Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes to support the team's work.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in similar roles, with experience working within a project management environment being highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with extensive experience in administrative procedures and systems, including document control, data entry, and file management.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create efficient systems and processes.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adjust and adapt to changing work demands while meeting service commitments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications to produce high-quality project documentation, diagrams, and presentations.
