Woking, Surrey, United Kingdom R & W Online Limited (ta Rowen and Wren) Full time
Being an e-commerce brand, our collections are our everything.

From those that are designed in-house to the pieces carefully sourced from our global family of makers, we pride ourselves on being a brand that our community can trust for quality, consideration and for finding pieces they may not have come across elsewhere.

As Procurement Intern, you'll be a key part of our product team.

First and foremost, you'll support our Head of Product closely monitoring sales and stocks, raising purchase orders and liaising with our suppliers and partners.

This role calls for a numbers driven individual who enjoys analysing data and crunching numbers while working collaboratively in a small team.

Rowen & Wren as a brand greatly enjoys a considered approach to everything we do from researching, developing and sourcing our products to how we communicate with our customers.

The Procurement Intern will be an integral part of the team providing support with administrative tasks from product set up on our Inventory system and website to merchandising the website to improve conversion and the customer journey.

You will be called upon to review sales and help summarise trends and performance. You will be a curious and proactive sort who obsesses over detail and accuracy.

Without doubt, you'll have a keen interest in the homewares market and be able to demonstrate an eye for detail.

But ultimately, we're looking for someone who has a genuine fervour for interiors and all that Rowen & Wren stands for.

You'll feel excited by the prospect of joining us at a point of real growth and eager to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing key support in the purchase order process by monitoring sales versus stocks and reviewing forecasts
  • Entering approved purchase orders on to our system
  • Liaising and progressing purchase orders with the suppliers
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products to our warehouses
  • Creation of product SKU codes and barcodes
  • Supporting the design team in entering key product information onto the website
  • Assisting the design team in compiling the product document and order sheet for new product launch
  • Uploading products to our website.
  • Assisting in managing preorders on the website
  • Undertaking competitors analysis as the business requires
  • Handling numbers (calculations such as currency conversion) and accurately recording information
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment where multiple projects will be balanced simultaneously

Key Skills:

  • Analytical thinker with great communication skills and an interest in homewares
  • An excellent standard of computer literacy, including advanced Excel skills, Microsoft Office and Power Point.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with an impeccable eye for detail
  • A teamfocussed mentality (we're a collaborative, closeknit bunch) and a cando attitude with willingness to take on a challenge
  • Ideally educated to degree level in a Merchandising and Planning field
