We are excited to be opening a factory in the Blackburn / Preston area and are recruiting for a Factory Office Admin Assistant with demonstrable experience of working within the manufacturing industry, to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Office Manager and Office Administrator
  • Maintain relationships and manage the order process with suppliers.
  • Schedule and release weekly production plans and issue each area of the factory with job sheets for the weekly production plan
  • Liaise with relevant teams regarding shipment arrivals and stock control.
  • Review and report on any potential shortfalls in production capacity, keeping relevant internal teams updated on any potential issues which may impact the scheduling of production plans and/or deliveries to customers
  • Maintain all aspects of the computerised purchasing system, including updating material master data, managing stock records, raising purchase orders, finished goods records, and maintaining supplier information records

Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of using an ERP system is essential, knowledge of EFACS system would be beneficial
  • Knowledge MRP System is beneficial
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills

Hours of work:

  • 4.5 day working week
  • No weekends
  • 60 minutes of paid breaks per day
