Job Title: Admin Assistant

Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team in Preston. As an integral part of our Fleet Management Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient administration of our fleet and the Fleet Management Tranman system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer the Fleet Management System, maintaining accurate records for all Constabulary vehicles.
  • Attend daily briefings and contribute to the effective management of the fleet.
  • Plan and produce servicing schedules for the Constabulary's fleet, taking operational priorities into account.
  • Ensure all vehicles are serviced in line with manufacturers' recommendations and Police maintenance/service specifications.
  • Manage vehicle disposals, commissioning, fuel cards, and other associated fleet requirements.
  • Assist with daily defect reporting through the Force Fleet Management systems and the fleet services mailbox.
  • Provide timely updates to customers, including realistic timescales for service, repair, and other external work.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues within the Fleet Management Department.
Requirements:
  • Experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment.
  • Ability to maintain and record information clearly and accurately.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Driving License.
Qualifications:
  • N/SVQ Level 2 or above Diploma in Customer Service or equivalent qualification.
