Feeder Person/Stockperson

We require a versatile and adaptable person to accurately feed this high-yielding, 3 x milked herd as well as carry out some stock duties on a state-of-the-art large scale dairy unit in north Yorkshire.

Main tasks will include feeding a TMR to milking herd, youngstock and dry cows, silage clamp management, bedding, and helping out with general livestock and yard work.

The successful candidate will be a multifunctional person who is flexible enough to carry out a number of different jobs around the farm. Someone who has excellent tractor driving skills, a passion for stock and an eye for attention to detail is what the farm requires. The ability to show initiative and work as part of a team is also necessary for the role.

In return for your efforts, we offer a highly competitive salary with bonus schemes, regular time off and a 3-bedroom house on farm, free from rent and council tax.
