**EY259 Junior Shipping Clerk (Logistics Department)**

**Location: London**

**Salary: £22,000 DOE**

**Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00pm**

**Overview**:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Junior Shipping Clerk on behalf of one of our clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Resolve invoice queries.
- Monitor and control equipment to ensure sufficient stock available for export.
- Monitor and control equipment and means of transportation necessary for efficient movement of cargo between shipside and customer's premises.
- Ensure efficient, accurate and timely production of export matters.
- Check and approve all haulier and feeder operator invoices.
- Complete weekly, monthly statistics reports for head office.
- Handle additional haulage charges and disputes.
- Despatch haulage order.
- Maintain system cost data.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must have the legal right to work in the UK, without sponsorship.
- We are looking for someone who is comfortable on the phone, customer focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in Logistics is not required; on the job training will be given.
- Good IT, organization and communication skills
- Experience in shipping/logistics or customer service within office environment will be an advantage.
- To be honest, responsible and punctual, to be able to work on your own initiative as well as to be a great team worker.
