Burnley, Lancashire, United Kingdom Warburtons Full time

Title: Compliance Coordinator
Location: Burnley
Hours: Monday to Friday :30 (Can be flexible)

Are you currently working as a Compliance Co-Ordinator or recently graduated with a food or bakery qualification and looking for your next challenge? Due to an internal move, we have a new opportunity for a Compliance Coordinator to join the team at our Burnley Bakery, based in Burnley, who will manage our regulatory requirements and Unbeatable Quality standards that we aspire to.

Essential Ingredients

  • HACCP Level 3 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Food Safety Legislation, internal auditing, and quality management systems (Quality Management Systems)
  • An understanding of micro biology and hygiene standards required in food manufacturing
  • Able to communicate and work across various departments to support food safety standards

The Recipe

You'll have excellent relationship building skills and able to network well, working closely with the Compliance Manager and Technical Manager across our site. You'll drive high standards and quality practices, able to interpret group policies and share them with the wider team.

Identifying and carrying out risk assessments and positively champion new ways of working when required. You will be confident and able to deputise for the Compliance Manager, making quick decisions based on the relevant information and facts, ensuring the three manufacturing plants and colleagues on site understand their role in helping us to deliver our Unbeatable Quality strategy.

This role is a great start to your career at Warburtons, with huge development potential. Ideally this role will suit someone with a chilled food background who understands the high standards and compliance required; alternatively we welcome applications from a graduate looking to grow their experience in the food sector.
