We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our client's team based in Solihull on a permanent basis, to lead the sales efforts for their battery and cell products across the UK.
This role can pay up to £33,000 for the right person, with a generous bonus based on performance.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and driving sales growth in the batteries/cells sector. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business development and sales.
Key responsibilities:
- Prospect, qualify and win new business within agreed parameters
- Qualify, distribute and close inbound leads from web and marketing activities
- Partner with marketing team to develop campaigns to generate leads within agreed market sectors
- Manage a pipeline of customer opportunities from inception to a win
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of relevant products and services
- Developing internal relationships with colleagues across the business to be able to provide the best level of service to your customers
- Actively assisting and supporting colleagues as required
