The OpportunitynAs our Building Services Technician, you are responsible for keeping installed metering devices working through reporting, diagnosing and repairing faults.

This role is for one of our major clients that operates a campus premium office building and will be a 3 days/week, on-site placement.

Remaining 2 days will be spent completing small installation works for the same client across multiple London based campuses and supporting our other clients.

As a Building Services Engineer, your responsibilities include:n

  • Actively integrate internal and external resources in order to achieve the best outcome for the Client and Service Support department.n
  • Foresee any potential risk to contractual arrangements, service delivery, WHS obligations and inform the Service Support manager.n
  • Work with the Service Support team to ensure services are carried out in accordance with the standards, WHS codes, client's requirements and schedules.n
  • Coordinate and liaise between departments to resolve any issues that may arise in order to meet the quality and scheduled requirements of the Service team.n
  • Reactive maintenance in-line with strict Service Level Agreementsn
  • Planned and preventative maintenancen
  • Regular fault reportingn
  • Daily checking of alerts via our proprietary software tooln
  • Data repair on rectification of fault

Additionally, you will ideally have:
n

  • An Electrical qualification with current and relevant certificatesn
  • Working rights in the UKn
  • 5+ years' experience working in a similar position E.g. BMS/EMS Systemsn
  • Previous electrical metering experiencen
  • Previous networking experience including TCP/IP and Modbus/RTUn
  • Excellent proficiency with the Office 365 suite of productsn
  • The drive and determination to achieve resultsn
  • Ability to work both independently and collaborativelyn
  • Excellent communication and presentation skillsn
  • Initiative to accomplish the objectives of the position and to meet deadlinesn
  • Excellent written skills to produce accurate and detailed reportsn
  • Proven ability to maintain good relationships with a wide variety of suppliers and customers
