Job Summary:

As a BIM/CAD Technician at LMG, you will play a vital role in creating technical drawings and models for cabling, network infrastructure, electronic security, and AV systems in both commercial and residential projects. Your responsibilities will entail collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with project objectives and industry norms. Conducting standard site surveys using tools and software to enhance wireless network performance and ensuring optimal alignment of security cameras' field of view and coverage will be part of your duties.

A keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under deadlines are crucial attributes for this role. Proficiency in CAD software like AutoCAD and Revit, coupled with a solid understanding of BIM processes, is vital for success.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 A*-C GCSE's, including Math's or English.
  • Valid DBS Check.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD Certification.
  • Autodesk Revit Certification.
  • Certificate in WiFi Survey Design (e.g. Ekahau, AirMagnet).
  • Industry and role-specific qualifications, including higher-level technical and management certifications.
  • Full clean driving licence.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with Revit (3D).
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling).
  • Awareness of Audio-Visual, ICT Infrastructure, IoT, and Wired & Wireless Network architecture.
