Role Overview:
nWe have a wonderful opportunity to join a leading housing association in the heart of East London.

We are seeking an experienced Building Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee and enhance our Building Safety and Compliance services.

This role is crucial in ensuring the residential projects across the are fully compliant with all Building and Fire Safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will ensure all inspections are completed promptly and that all relevant contracts are in place and monitored to maintain the highest safety standards for our residents.


Key Responsibilities:

nas the lead authority on building safety, ensuring compliance with current regulations and buildings, including residential, commercial properties, and offices, meet health and safety implementation and management of the new Building Safety manage fire safety strategies for all buildings.nmonitor, and audit regulatory inspection programs.nregular compliance inspections.nmonthly and u quarterly performance reports, ensuring alignment with service targets and Executive and Board on sector developments and relevant procurement, project management, supervision, and coordination of contractors and service contracts related to Building Safety and Compliance.nsatisfactory completion of work by staff or manage tender documents for maintenance management maintain asset management systems and the new homes team to plan new developments and project handovers.nefficient procurement practices to maximize value for develop annual budgets for maintenance and service expenditures.nhealth and safety initiatives within the organization.nfollow-up or remediation work post-compliance inspections.ncomprehensive records to ensure a 'Golden Thread' of safety data.nclosely with the Asset & Facilities Manager to meet all service standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

nyears of experience in Building/Fire Safety and compliance within a residential management setting.nqualification in Construction, Project Management, or Building Safety.nknowledge of current Building Safety requirements and future developments.norganizational skills in a dynamic property management environment.nunderstanding of Customer Service metrics with a track record of high-quality service delivery.


Skills and Abilities:

nproject management problem-solving public procurement and skilled in negotiation.ninterpersonal, relationship-building, and networking multitask and prioritize workloads effectively.npresenter with the ability to manage inclusive meetings.nplayer with leadership and motivational abilities.nwriting skills for handling complex documents.nproficient, capable of using property management and maintenance software, as well as Excel and Word.nflexible, and innovative approach to work.
