We are looking for a Security Officer/Weigh Bridge Operator for one of our clients in the Dunbar area, as a Security Officer/Weigh Bridge Operator you will be providing a valued and important part of the branch operations and be a key ambassador to our clients and Profile Security.

Your roles and responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

  • Providing an excellent first rate customer service to clients, staff, visitors and contractors.
  • Operating the clients weigh bridge, logging the weights of vehicles coming on and off of site through their computer system.
  • Completing driver inductions using the client supplied IPad and soft wear.
  • Patrolling of client premises in a marked patrol vehicle, acting as a high visibility presence and first point of contact.
  • Reporting incidents, accidents and faults in line with both company and client process.
  • Observe and follow all instructions as laid out in the assignment instructions.
  • Liaise with the client on all aspects of security, health and safety.
You must hold, or be in processing for a front line Sia Security or Door Supervision license.

Driving license and own transport is essential due to patrolling site in a marked patrol vehicle, and you must be presentable and customer focussed at all times.


You will be required to cover the following shifts on a 4 days on, 3 nights on 4 days off which will be a long weekend.

Then 3 days on, 4 nights on, 3 days off pattern between the hours of 07:00-19:00 or 19:00-07:00. Commitment and flexibility is key to being successful in this role, along with a desire to learn and progress.


You must be able to produce a 5 year checkable work history, and all relevant documents for vetting under BS7858.


We offer a full free company uniform, 5.6 weeks annual leave per year, monthly pay and ongoing training and support for those who wish to progress in there career.
