Duties

  • Handle a variety of offender management tasks at Melbourne House, Stoke.
  • Provide support to the Probation Delivery Unit
  • Execute safeguarding responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage risks effectively
  • Knowledge of OASys is advantageous

Probation Officer Technical Requirements

  • To qualify, you must possess a Probation Officer qualification or be a certified Probation Officer. Additionally, candidates need to have:
    • PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice; or
    • Diploma in Probation Studies; or
    • Diploma in Social Work (Probation option); or
    • CQSW (Probation option)
  • Understanding of the Criminal Justice System and Probation Service
