Sitting within Facilities Management Services, Coventry City Council's FM Operations Team is expanding to ensure our properties remain functional and safe for our occupants and visitors.

We're seeking an enthusiastic Facilities Manager for the Friargate District, responsible for overseeing a varied range of properties and services.

You will be an integral part of a diverse core team of FM professionals dedicated to delivering quality services to a wide range of individuals, including employees, tenants, and building users.

A key part of this role will be to manage the building service charges in line with the RICS code of practice for each property.

You will have previous experience, be knowledgeable and competent in the operation and application of service charge responsibilities including budget setting and reconciliations.

You will be a key member of the project team when new tenants are onboarding including liaising with fit out contractors, ensuring that no disruption occurs to other tenants within the building and relevant Health and Safety legislation is adhered to.

We are looking for an experienced Facilities Management professional who can demonstrate:

Service charge management and operation in line with RICS code of practice
Property management skills and experience
Project management experience
Contract management experience
Good communicator and able to challenge where required poor levels of service
