We have an exciting opportunity for an MDT Coordinator and Governance Facilitator to join our Governance team within The Princess Grace Hospital.

This role is vital in ensuring the efficient and effective co-ordination of MDT's for PGH's non-cancer multidisciplinary teams and proving administration support for governance team.

You'll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you'll do:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the function of MDT meetings
  • Ensure list of patients to be discussed at the MDT meetings are prepared and distributed to the team members well in advance of the meeting. Record attendance at the meetings and monitor attendance. Record outcomes of patients discussed and treatment/management plans and distribute electronically to the team members. Ensure treatment decisions are recorded in the patient records and communicated effectively
  • Ensure all correspondence, notes, imaging and results etc are available for all meetings
  • Coordinate operational MDT reviews with lead clinicians and clinical nurse specialists, attend meetings, record discussions, decisions and updates, type report appropriately and distribute
  • Attendance at various governance meetings to take minutes, record attendance and actions
  • Provide administration support to Associate Head of Governance, Quality Manager & Patient Experience Manager as required.

What you'll bring:

  • Previous admin experience in a similar role within healthcare is essential
  • Previous MDT/ Governance experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
