About the role

As our People Coordinator, your role is crucial to our People experience. You're the first point of contact for People queries across the globe and our resident expert for all People admin. With a keen eye for detail, you'll take care of all our People data, keeping our People Ops efficient and seamless. Your impact will be felt across the whole people lifecycle and you'll be up for iterating often, to maximise our team efficiency. Want to automate something, give it a go. Think we can make something less clunky, great Want to upskill the team on some new system or AI functionality – love that This role is a great opportunity for someone who is curious, takes initiative and wants to have hands on experience in running the core engine of a People Team. What does success look like for this role?

These are the outcomes we are looking for this role to deliver... how you do this open for exploration and can be driven by you

  • Our People inbox is managed seamlessly, with queries solved in a timely and friendly manner; escalating if needed.
  • All our People systems and platforms are up to date with all global people data and documents accurately stored and accessible.
  • Manual People tasks are automated wherever possible, maximising the functionality of our systems, so our People processes are scalable & efficient.
  • Warm welcomes – meaning new starters have a smooth start from the People Team, supporting a seamless transition from offer to welcome. Pe, with key People touch points on brand and easily accessible worldwide.
  • Good global goodbyes – meaning anyone who leaves Go City is supported with a simple and considered leaving journey. Line managers know what they need to do, and all leaving admin/pay info is communicated and managed carefully and accurately, in collaboration with Finance, Tech & any other teams
  • Every leaver has an exit chat coordinated with their People Partner, you'll work closely with them to turn their reflections into meaningful data that helps us to reflect and improve the colleague experience.
  • All global People admin is completed to a high standard, keeping benefits consistent and portals up to date e.g. Learnerbly, Bonusly, life assurance, family leave & ad hoc gifts. etc.
  • Our People are kept up to date with benefit offerings and how to use or apply for them. This might look like system refreshers, or webinars etc.
  • Global payroll admin is completed each month, from pay changes to contract updates and refer a friend payments; ensuring our Finance team have all the info they need to keep our people paid accurately.
  • Training courses are coordinated seamlessly, from clear comms and lunch bookings to calendar invites across multiple diaries and time zones.
  • Any People related paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner, ever mindful of our Company tone of voice and local employment regulations.
  • Our family leave process is managed seamlessly, from soon to be parents sharing their news through to their return-to-work post leave; following local regulations, with each parent feeling supported and informed by the People Team.
  • All employees have the relevant right to work checks complete, keeping us compliant with our immigration obligations worldwide
  • Ad hoc support provided during recruitment process, including interview scheduling, updating our applicant tracking system and managing integrations with our People system
  • Initial people queries are handled in line with local regulations and our people principles, escalating to our People Partners where needed.
  • All core People experience touchpoints are reviewed continuously, with our values in mind, striving to make our Go City People experience the best it can be.
  • Usage rates for global benefits are monitored and communicated, helping us stay aware of the all important ROI.
  • As the guardian of so much people data and its literacy, you find ways to creatively share the myriad of insights with the teams and the business through dashboards, platforms and our various newsletters.

Requirements

Essential for this role...

  • A keen attention to detail, you spot the little things others miss so our People Experience is seamless and accurate.
  • Experience working with high volumes of People data and tangible examples where you've proactively prevented admin errors via your meticulous approach.
  • An adaptable and human communicator, able to liaise with all levels of seniority with tact; your written & verbal style flexes to each scenario or stakeholder.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, you'll want to constantly simplify and streamline processes using tools like AI and workflows, or if you're 're up for finding out
  • Curious and capable when it comes to analytics, you'll revel in digging into the data to identify and share trends
  • Confidence in juggling a busy and varied to do list; you can prioritise like a pro, considering urgency, importance and people impact to keep things moving.
  • System savvy, you'll have worked with a variety of 'HR' platforms before, maintaining data/uploads... you'll know your way around an excel spreadsheet too.

  • You've had experience using our current People Tech Stack- BambooHR, Learnerbly, Bonusly, Microsoft, Viva Engage (or have transferrable skills you're willing to flex to learn).
  • You have experience advising on People matters across the UK, US, Europe or APAC or willingness to seek out training to learn
