We are looking for a People Coordinator to join our team on a 6 month fixed term contract basis.

This is an exciting opportunity that would suit someone looking to extend the foundations of their HR experience and wanting to get stuck in with an inclusive and busy People team.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Support across the whole employee lifecycle, which includes:

Onboarding of new starters:

drafting employment offers and contracts;
on boarding of new hires and pre-employment checks ;
provision of accurate payroll data
creating the employee profile on the people database/shared drive employee file.
Ensuring 'right to work' checks are completed

Continued employee changes:

Managing employee trackers such as maternity, contingent workers, casual workers and probation
Inputting all employee changes into Workday and creating the associated paper work.

Offboarding of leavers:

Reference requests
Producing the leaver paperwork
Updating the people database
Informing payroll
Cancelling any benefits
Scheduling the exit interview

Other duties will include but are not limited to:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and an improved employee experience across the above functions.
Implement process improvements with support of relevant P&T Team Members (e.g. People Partners, People Ops Team)
Support the wider People initiatives on learning, performance and culture
Ad hoc duties such as maintaining the People team shared drive on Box, pulling reports and general administration

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
Solid HR Administration experience gained within a fast paced environment.
Computer literacy, experience of working with databases and MS office. Intermediate level Excel skills a must.
Super attention to detail with the ability to maintain an excellent level of accuracy and manage a high workload.
"Can do" attitude with ability to work on own initiative and happy to muck in where necessary.
Excellent communication both verbal and written with great interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements and a thirst for improvement.
Flexible and adaptable to new ways of working.
Starter finisher working style.
Visio skills & experience of creating org charts would be advantageous.
Experience working with Workday would be advantageous


This is a 6 month fixed term contract to start ASAP and you must be able to work on hybrid basis from our office in Victoria.
