About the role:


HeliosX is looking to hire a People Coordinator to support the business across generalist HR activities, ensuring the smooth delivery and coordination of our People processes.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will support a multitude of processes including onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, first line HR support, and the maintenance of our HRIS, BambooHR (ensuring all records are accurate and up to date, as well as generating reports and analysing our People data).

You will also support the wider People Ops team across a variety of projects, surveys geared towards process improvement and automation.


What you'll be doing:

  • Take ownership of daytoday HR operations including; onboarding, probation management, offboarding, benefits enrolment, administering system access etc.
  • Ensure all employee data is up to date, accurate, and in a format that enables effective reporting and insight; take ownership of basic reporting
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and troubleshooting
  • Prepare and manage all new starter information/documents in accordance with local compliance and legislation
  • Draft and coordinate supporting HR documentation around employee changes, i.e. probation, promotion, and disciplinaries
  • Support the wider People team in notetaking employee relations meetings/issues when required
  • Support on the quarterly engagement survey process to ensure we are collecting up to date feedback from our employees on their experience
  • Be the first point of call for all questions and support relating to our main People platforms (Bamboo, Lattice, Moorepay)
  • Proactively report on People Data, enabling visibility and ongoing insights to the wider team

Who you are:

  • Minimum 1+ year of experience in HR administration or people operations/coordination roles
  • Proven experience organising events in multiple diaries (we use Google Suite)
  • Experience in working within Tech a startup is an advantage
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a deep ability to understand what motivates others
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong ability to prioritise actions and tasks; the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done, no matter how big or small
  • Ability to write and communicate verbally in an effective and compelling manner
