The Montefiore Hospital is rated "Outstanding" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). We practice some of the most advanced treatments on the latest generation imaging, and diagnostic technology.

There are buses that stop in the vicinity and is also within walking distance of both Hove and Brighton train station.


We have two Booking Administrator positions available on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract in our busy and dynamic Outpatient Bookings department.

We are open to conversations about what part time hours will look like but both roles are Monday to Friday.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Make and receive telephone calls
  • Accurately enter and process bookings into SAP
  • Process NHS bookings using ERS
  • Liaise with Insurance Companies/consultants and medical secretaries
  • Arrange minor operations
  • Liaise with other departments within the hospital regarding outpatient appointments
  • Review Outpatient clinics on a daily basis checking for DNA patients and rebooking where appropriate.

  • Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
  • Experience working in a similar environment
  • Must be a good communicator and have good computer literacy.
  • Someone who works well as part of a team
