The HR Manager will report directly into the Head of HR and will be responsible for supporting and leading on projects such as: Recruitment and Retention, Performance Management, Health and Wellbeing, Diversity, and Inclusion in line with the HR Strategyof the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with key stakeholders and the Head of HR to deliver training design and training delivery across the business.
- Taking a leading role in creating the best culture across the business
- Support, coach and guide managers in their communication, feedback, recognition, and interaction with employees.
- The HR team will define and develop a strategy towards Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, ensuring our working practices support a diverse and inclusive environment.
- Determine and recommend ER practices necessary to establish a positive employer/employee relationship
- Dealing with complex HR queries including advising on policies, procedures; developing, implementing, and updating when necessary to comply with UK employment law and good practice
- Overseeing the management of recruitment from endtoend to ensure a smooth process
- Managing the onboarding process to ensure every new recruit has a quality, thorough and informative induction, in line with the values.
Person Specification
- CIPD L5 qualified minimum
- Strong HR Generalist experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Experience of managing an HR team
- Knowledge of uptodate industry best practice in generalist HR practices.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with proven influencing and negotiating skills.
