We currently require a
Laboratory Assistant to be based in the One Health department at Procter & Gamble's Reading Site.


Description of work:

Role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Making personal care misc. testing samples and finished products (ie. developmental/stability/consumer studies)
  • Physical testing of misc. products and samples (eg. Appearance, viscosity, pH, density)
  • Running technical testing following standard operating procedures (SOPs) using different equipment and methods.
  • Generating test data and keeping records in Lab Notebook
  • Monitoring lab stock and supplies
  • Ordering raw materials and consumables required for projects
  • Equipment calibration, general lab housekeeping/cleaning etc
  • Assisting with production of labels for various projects/stability/clinical studies
  • COSSH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) writing
  • An interest/education in science.
  • Strong familiarity with technology.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Experience working with Excel or other spreadsheet software.
