You and Your Team:
  • As a Debt Recovery Specialist, you will be reporting to the Debt Sale Manager. You'll be part of a team that will support the Debt Sale Manager, Debt Sale Programme Manager and Senior Recoveries Specialist in post
  • sale monitoring and support. Contributing to the efficient and effective completion of Debt Collection Agency processes and Recoveries tasks.
  • You will help develop new processes and challenge existing processes to improve Operational/ Strategic performance and efficiency.

In your day-to-day role, as a
Debt Recovery Specialist you will:

  • Contribute towards the maintenance of relationships with external Suppliers at client services level.
  • Respond to queries received from Suppliers in relation to preplacement and presale or purchase activity within set SLAs.
  • Ensure all thirdparty and internal processes are worked within set SLAs.
  • Coordinating of weekly payment files and monthly invoices, obtaining relevant approvals in line with the financial framework and ensuring partners are paid in a timely manner.
  • Supporting with the DCA and debt sale error reports within agreed SLAs which act as the banks key controls to departmental risks.
  • Support with the regular review of DCA & Debt sale procedure guides.
  • Cover appropriate queries received from front line colleagues relating to debt sold or DCA placed accounts and processes
  • Identify and refer any correspondence/query relating to financial difficulty or vulnerability to the Financial Difficulty team or Specialist Support team in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that any vehicle finance accounts returned from DCA are allocated to the correct territory code and dealt with appropriately in line with TCF.

  • Up to 30 minutes telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
  • 60 minutes with the hiring team Shane Frost and Jamie Jackson
