Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations into customer accounts to identify root causes of arrears and develop effective strategies for recovery.
- Collaborate with customers to discuss their financial situations and provide guidance on managing debt.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial support activities, including early arrears, court orders, and auctions.
- Act as a coach and mentor to less experienced team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our financial support processes.
- Work closely with the team to achieve departmental service level agreements and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with our organization's risk management and data governance policies, prioritizing customer outcomes and data protection.
Requirements:
- Recent experience working in a financial support environment, specifically in secured lending and mortgage services, is essential.
- Proven ability to undertake complex financial support, litigation, and receivership activities, including holding delegated authority to support customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are essential, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and documents.
