Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Collections Recovery Officer to join our team at Intec Select. As a key member of our financial support team, you will be responsible for managing mortgage arrears and ensuring fair customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into customer accounts to identify root causes of arrears and develop effective recovery strategies.
  • Collaborate with customers to discuss their financial situation and negotiate payment plans that meet their needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including those related to data governance and risk management.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced team members to support their development and growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our financial support services.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial support, mortgage collections, and debt management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Accreditation in debt management or a related field is desirable but not essential.
