- Role responsibilities of the Interim Commissioning Manager
- Children's Social Care include:_
- Drive and lead the development of a well evidenced commissioning sufficiency strategy
- Work collaboratively within the organisation and support and provide expert advice to operational stakeholders in social care
- Develop the fostering service, specifically children with complex needs and initiatives on how the Council can better support foster carers
- Conduct quality assurance of providers as well as market development, including creating briefs and training programmes
- Develop inhouse residential services and improve communications within commissioning
- The Interim Commissioning Manager
- Children's Social Care will have:_
- Previous experience of working within a local government organisation
- Experience in children's social care commissioning and developing sufficiency strategies
- Superb oral and written communication skills and outstanding organisation and time management
