About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Family Support Worker to join our team in Barking and Dagenham. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people to achieve a healthy weight and develop healthy lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver family support programs to promote healthy eating and physical activity among children and young people.
  • Work closely with families, schools, and community organizations to identify and address the root causes of childhood obesity.
  • Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on healthy eating and physical activity.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
