Brightly Software

Build a brighter future while learning and growing with a Siemens company at the intersection of technology, community and sustainability. Our global team of innovators is always looking to create meaningful solutions to some of the toughest challenges facing our world. Find out how far your passion can take you.

About the Job

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to join our Sales & Solutions team. You will use your experience of enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions to influence software and service sales across our UK region.

With exceptional client relationship skills, you'll probe and understand a customer's pain points to help present compelling, tangible solutions which meet their goals.

You'll be supported by a team of Solution Consultants and will be equipped with ongoing training to build your knowledge and expertise of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and become proficient with Brightly's software solutions.

This is a remote role, predominately working from home, with travel to Brightly/Siemens offices and customer sites as required.

What will you deliver?

Operate as a subject matter expert for Brightly software, focused on Enterprise Asset Management solutions

  1. Work closely with the Sales team to maximise opportunities by understanding customer needs, envisioning a future state and helping customers get there
  2. Work in collaboration with the wider Solutions team to create high-calibre, value-focused client presentations and deliver software demonstrations
  3. Work with consulting and implementation teams to ensure solution feasibility pre-sale and successful implementation post-sales
  4. Support and lead user groups and client success planning sessions as and when needed
  5. You will be innovating, using Brightly and our partner network's capabilities to deliver value to our clients. On any day, you could be advising a client how best to integrate our software with a 3rd party CRM system to realise their goals, the next you may be working with a cutting-edge IoT solution partner to determine the data flows required with our software to realise client value
  6. Responding to Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP) from central and local government organisations
  7. Contribute to sales and marketing activities, including the delivery of webinars, attendance at user groups and representing Brightly at industry events and trade shows
  8. Remain current with industry events, product offerings, etc.
What will you bring to the role:
  • Knowledge / experience of enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Understanding of central and local government organisation structure and responsibilities
  • Experience demonstrating software solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Skills such as SQL, data manipulation tools, API's, basic programming experience, use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data visualisation tools e.g. Tableau or Power BI
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to identify and address client concerns
  • Able to work on your own initiative within a framework set out for the team
  • A willingness to learn, gain knowledge and develop skills on an ongoing basis
What makes you standout:

Experience in the practical application of Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software solutions or similar

An innovative and original thinker, accustomed to applying technology to solve customer challenges

Demonstrable experience building client relationships

If you are passionate about customer service and have a strong track record of building positive relationships with clients, we encourage you to apply. We offer a competitive salary, a dynamic work environment, and opportunities for growth and development within our organisation.

The Brightly culture

We're guided by a vision of community that serves the ambitions and wellbeing of all people, and our professional communities are no exception. We model that ideal every day by being supportive, collaborative partners to one another, conscientiously making space for our colleagues to grow and thrive. Our passionate team is driven to create a future where smarter infrastructure protects the environments that shape and connect us all. That brighter future starts with us.

We are committed to furthering our culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion. We encourage applications from a diverse talent pool and are happy to give the opportunity to discuss flexibility and reasonable adjustment requirements. Many of our teams are working effectively in a remote, virtual environment adding to our ability to offer more flexibility on how you handle your time.
