Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of collaborative working with our colleagues often 1 to 3 days per week in one of our offices.

You and Your Team:

As a Direct Sales Consultant, you will be reporting to the Direct Sales Team Leader. You'll be responsible for managing the relationship with customers who have applied for vehicle finance via the Moneybarn website, via introducers or through our Inbound and Outbound Sales line. This role is a varied role talking to customers and dealers through.

In your day-to-day role, as a Direct Sales Consultant you will:

  • Be part of a highly targeted driven sales unit, writing quality business to be assessed against the lifecycle of the finance. You will be monitored for the financial delinquency rates, incorporating their first payment rate. Then it will be transferred to their contribution to Profit before Tax (PBT)
  • Support customer's journey via Inbound calls, advising customer on next steps, taking them through an application, answering all customer product queries to within targeted KPIs.
  • Outbound calling to new and existing customers through various marketing campaigns to help grow our direct customer base.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring we only work with compliant Dealerships, in order to protect the customer and the business.
  • Generating documents with a high level of attention to detail, for both customer and dealership in order for our first time payout rate to be achieved. For example, dealing with invoices and relevant paperwork.
  • End to end delivery to complete the deal and informing the customers that the funds have been released.
  • Adhere to the FCA Conduct rules to protect business reputation.

What will make you stand out?

  • Previous experience working in an FCA/FSA regulated environment
  • Previous experience working within the Vehicle Finance market
  • Previous sales experience within a contact centre environment.
  • Target driven and able to work to deadlines.
  • Flexible, able to adapt to changing business & customer needs.
  • Provide effective, courteous and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide a high quality of service delivery to internal and external customers.

The interview process:

  • Up to 30minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Up to 60 mins with the hiring team – Get to know you, understand your experience and answer any questions you may have.
  • Final interview with Sarah Fenwick (Head of Sales & Customer Retention)
