About the Trust
We provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. We support a population of just over 1.6 million people and employ more than 4,700 staff.

Our biggest bases are at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich, Wedgwood House, Bury St Edmunds and Woodlands Unit in Ipswich but our staff are based in more than 50 locations.


What you'll be responsible for:

  • Provide accurate, prompt and efficient secretarial/administrative support to the clinical multidisciplinary team which may include spreadsheets and reports.
  • Use electronic systems to input and access information as required by the clinical multidisciplinary team.
  • Deal with and process all types of patient referrals liaising directly with General Practitioners, clinical staff including medical staff from other areas.
  • Liaise with clinical team members in relation to urgent referrals or other emergencies.
  • Provide nonclinical information to patients and families, where necessary, including cancellation of appointments.
  • Take and process minutes for teams (across the Locality).

  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • Excellent communication skills
- both verbal and written

  • Microsoft office skills
  • Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Previous admin experience
  • Previous NHS experience
  • Customer Service experience
  • Dairy management experience
